Skin softening

I used the patch tool & the spot healing brush.

I changed the color balance to change the color of the picture.

Out of proportion

You make something look out of proportion by changing the size

of the object & putting it together with something that

normally wouldn't go with the object.

Reflections

I chose to do the sunglass reflection because it looks realistic.

Photo aging

Photo aging gives a tint to my photo and makes the photo look very old.

David Hockney

David Hockney was a photogropher, and a British artist. His work looks like lots of layers of squares placed on top of eachother like a puzzle, creating one big picture in the end.

carters Mtn. photographs

I color corrected the first and last pictures and added text to them. For the second and third picture i made it black and white.For the fourth picture i brightened it.

Portraits

I used for the first photo custom shape. For the second i used ink sketch and for the third i used cross processing.

Collage

I replicated Sally Alexander's work and used the same necklace shaped idea to put my picutres in like her.

macro sharpening

Sharpening increases the contrast between two objects. to sharpen an image, you darken the lines and lighten the areas around them. It makes the photo stand out more. The macro-setting is what you use to take upclose pictures.

Lights

I used the pen tool and added a glow effect and colors.

favorite photographer

I chose Ken Rockwell as my favorite photogropher. I love his images because it's pretty buildings mostly. And it's got lots of lighting in it which interests me.

splash of color

I made it a black and white picture and then used the paint brush to paint the color back into the picture.

typography

In this poject we were to take letters and make a picture out of them.  I created a smiley face.

Visual puns

When you take a word and literally make it what it sounds like. I created a butterfly {butter- fly} and a kickball {kick-ball}

In this photo, i cropped it and i put the black around it.

Jumping off the page

I took half of my image out and kept the horse there. I put the shadow on and flipped it to make it look realistic.

Pop art

Pop art is like a 3d image almost. The vende dots make it look more 3d. A famous artist known for doing amazing pop art's named Takashi Murakami. I put a photo of his work up because it interested me with all the colors and the eyes popping out.

Layer Mask!

You use a layer mask to cover up stuff you don't want to be in your picture. A layer mask is a series of layers of cut out pictures you apply to a background.

Magic Wand & Selections

 The magic wand tool selects certain shapes or objects that you need it to. I used the rotation tool for this project as well. & the rectangular marquee tool & the eliptical tool.

Crazy Combos

I made a cat & a dog together. I combined my favorite animal (a cat)

and my brothers favorite animal (a dog).  I used the

rectangular marquee tool & the blend tool & the

quick select tool.

All About Me

This is a project i made having everything i like, it's all about me. The tools i used was the rectangular marquee tool to crop the photos & the quick selection tool to take images out of their background.
